Each level of In Focus covers six themes across twelve units. The themes have been specifically chosen to be both relevant to the students' lives yet at the same time open to multiple perspectives. Readings for the topics cover both neutral and extreme stances intended to either inform on the subject or provoke opinions in support of or against the writer's stance. These ideas are further supported with presentation and discussion tips to develop students' ability to formulate and convey their thoughts to a wider audience.
